Mind-Body Eating: The Path to Nurturing Wisdom

Beyond Diets. Beyond Willpower. Healing the Root of Your Relationship with Food.

Most of us have been taught that our struggles with food—overeating, bingeing, or body image—are a "lack of willpower" or a "nutrition problem."

I see it differently.

Your relationship with food is a brilliant, symbolic mirror of your inner world. If you are someone who has navigated trauma, your eating habits are often a survival strategy. They are your nervous system’s way of trying to find safety, grounding, and "home" in a world that feels overwhelming.

Why We Focus on the Nervous System, Not the Plate as first place

Traditional nutrition tells you what to eat. I help you discover who you are as an eater. We shift the focus from "calories" to "consciousness."

Marc David, MA; Founder of Institute for Psychology of Eating

My Approach: Dynamic Eating Psychology

As a Mind-Body Eating Coach trained at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, I blend Marc David’s revolutionary psychology with the different modalities I’m trained in Somatic Trauma Resolution.

We don’t obsess with calories. We understand the patterns behind the eating behaviors, the dysregulation of your nervous system behind and track sensation for grounding, stability, safety. We don’t restrict. We regulate trough conscious eating. There is nothing wrong with emotional eating as a strategy of survival. You need to bring lots of understanding in many layers, self-compassion and tools for self-regulation.

We explore the "Why" behind:

Binge Eating & Overeating

Moving from shame to understanding the biological "triggers" in your brain.

Body Image Anxiety

Healing the "inner critic" that is often a protective mechanism from childhood. The antidote for body image is embodiment.

Digestive Fatigue

Seeing how "undigested" life experiences and trauma manifest as bloating, pain, and IBS.

Your Journey to transformation

This is a journey of coming home to your body. We work to move from a place of deprivation and dread to a place where food is a source of nourishment and joy. When you stop fighting your appetite and start listening to your nervous system, you can finally claim your unique and beautiful destiny.
